Buy 10 or Nothing happens when I try to operate the power mirrors. When I was troubleshooting an airbag light I tested the wire to the switch. There was power to one wire. So, I assume it is not the fuse. Are switches known for going bad? I tried to by pass the switch by connecting the power wire to other wires in the harnes but nothing happennes The mirror itself doesn't move via the drivers joystick control switch, neither does it fold in or out. Driver's wing mirror functions perfectly. All windows and central locking seem to work fine on both sides. I've checked fuses #8 and #15 in the dash fuse box and they are intact. If you look through you will see a "lug sitting on a black lip. Use the screwdriver to force the lip away from the car. the lug will slip down the side of it. release the lip and it will secure the mirror. Note the mirror does not seem to fit 100% correctly so I've added some tape for extra security. Cheers. Try cracking into the electrical system for the mirrors and shorting out the switch to see if you get any response from the mirror. They work, in so much as the electrically adjust from the switch, but they don't tilt when the car is put into reverse. Also, I noticed that the mirrors don't heat up, as the condensation didn't clear the other day. thanks.
